AIP Windtunnel Balance
This is a recently installed AIP Wind Tunnel Balance with integrated Flat Road Dyno (FRDM XwD) at Mercedes Benz. The project highlighted includes, e.g. a 5-belt system, consisting of a driven belt unit (WDU – wheel drive unit) per wheel and a Center Belt (CB) for the simulation of the road surface under the test vehicle.
AIP CDM 72 XWD Dynamometer with Installation
POC Installed an AIP Heavy Duty Dynamometer at the Enviromental Protection Agency (EPA). The project highlights AIP’s CDM 72 Heavy Duty MIM machine. This machine was built to the EPA’s strict requirements.
AIP Wind Tunnel CDM 75 WT/CL
Our partner AIP installed a Heavy Duty Emission Chassis Dynamometer CDM 75 WT/CL for use in wind tunnels and climatic chambers to measure e.g. vehicle aerodynamics. Various designs for 2WD and 4WD applications available.
