Electrical Engineer-Control Design

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for controls design for custom automotive test equipment, including high & low voltage control panel design & layout, analog & digital circuit design and communications.
  • Assist manufacturing and participate in house build and field support of installed equipment.
  • Machine installation support both on-site and remotely by phone.
  • Travel up to 50% covering North America, South America and Mexico.
  • * BSEE with emphasis on controls or systems.
  • * Troubleshooting, implementation utilizing 480VAC and 24VDC control panel design, variable frequency drive experience; Baldor, GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi family PLC systems, CAN BUS design and programming experience.
  • Individual must have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work within a cross-functional team environment. PCB layout and schematic capture experience would be a plus.
  • Experience designing with and using variable frequency with an emphasis on Siemens drives is needed.
  • * Works on specific phases or aspects of project or projects electrical systems development and durability or technical studies to provide design recommendation and define material requirements. Also support correlations of analysis with tests.
  • * Experience troubleshooting multiprocessor software and hardware systems
  • * Assists with machine start-ups and assists with coordination of installation services.
  • * Experience in programming Siemens/GE PLC controls.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office products.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated individual who understands the importance of being a team player to achieve organizational goals.
  • * Position involves up to 40% travel, both domestic and international

Sales Engineer-Automotive

Your Responsibilities:

  • Acquisition of new customers and support existing customers.
  • Establishing permanent and trustful customer relationships.
  • Responsible for the entire sales circle from RFQ to final acceptance.
  • Analysis of market and customer requirements.
  • Developing customer specific solutions in collaboration with our partner AIP and our R&D team.
  • Attend trade shows.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information including forecasts, activities, territory evaluation.
  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
  • Achieve assigned sales target and develop sales strategy
  • Sell company products, including Dynamometers and Components in the assigned territory with minimal amount of supervision.
  • Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Travel required
  • Prior Sales experience required with minimum of 5 years preferably from a reputable Sales Training Program/Company
  • Technical, capital equipment experience is a requirement
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Power Point, Excel, CRM, and Digital Marketing
  • Ability to present by themselves
  • Ability to drive a sale from initial contact to close
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations
  • Fast, self-direct learning.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline
