DUTIES:

Analyzes and resolves machine problems in the field as assigned.
Performs field service as directed by the Service Department.
Attends pre-runoff and post-runoff meetings as directed by the Service Department.
Communicate with Engineering through the Engineering Change Request Procedure and through Field Service Reports any field modifications and blueprint updates required.
Provides and prepare customer training as required.
Participates in the development of preventative maintenance, set-up and troubleshooting manuals.
Keep accurate records during a Field Service Call of work performed and work remaining to be performed.
Identifies parts in need of potential replacement and advise the customer of the same.
Assists and supplement Salaried Sales Personnel in the marketing and sale of periodic and specific maintenance programs and inventory spare parts, as deemed necessary and desirable by the Service Department.
Performs such additional Customer Service duties as may be deemed necessary by the Service Department.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

One-year card carrying Journeyman, or five years equivalent experience in the related trade.
Machinery troubleshooting and debugging experience.
Ability to analyze and resolve machine problems and distinguish between Mechanical, Electrical Hydraulic and Pneumatic malfunctions.
Ability to achieve timely and equitable solutions to customer start-up and runoff problems encountered in the field.
Ability to conduct self in accordance with job requirements specified above.
