Job description
As a Quotation Specialist at Prime One Contracting, you will be instrumental in reviewing customer specifications, selecting the appropriate POC products, and preparing detailed pricing quotes. You will collaborate closely with both customers and the sales team to deliver quotes that align with project requirements, deadlines, and budgets. Your role will involve managing high-value projects, sometimes exceeding $1 million, on an international scale. This position offers significant growth potential within the company and provides an opportunity to enhance both your technical and client-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create & deliver accurate and timely quotations for customers, ensuring that all information is complete
- Interact with vendors to obtain special pricing and special-order items
- Review requests for quotes (RFQs) and ensure all necessary information is obtained from the customer
- Provide accurate and up-to-date pricing information for all products and services requested
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure that all quotes are compliant with company policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure that all opportunities are properly qualified and pursued
- Support the service team with administrative tasks, such as data entry and reporting
- Contribute to the development of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage daily workload • Attend all department and service meetings as requested
Required Experience:
- Associates or higher degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Experience in a sales support or customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
