Sales Engineer/ Account Manager

Market development/sales of POC/AIP anechoic and EMC Test and Measurement products in the Automotive domain. The work is highly technical and requires interest and aptitude in guiding customers across a broad range of engineering disciplines, from building-related topics and precision mechanics to antennas, electromagnetics and instrumentation.

 

Required Experience

  • You already have proven track record in sales / business development experience with min. 3 years in automotive industry.
  • You have contacts with key decision makers such as tier1 suppliers, OEMs, semiconductor/ engineering companies in automotive domain
  • You have basic technical knowledge in Automotive existing and upcoming new technologies like ADAS, connectivity, electric vehicles
  • business experience consisting of some combination of the following:
  • Shielded and anechoic chambers for EMC and/or antenna testing
  • Presales or Technical Sales role Project Management or Product Management
  • Engineering role

Responsiblities 

  • You will be responsible for the market development of POC/AIP EMC Test and Measurement products in Automotive domain.
  • Execute against agreed go-to-market, sales activities and revenue realization in automotive accounts.
  • Must have experience in working in large projects, closing sales deals +1M.
  • You will work closely with the application/ product departments for developmental new system ATEs, product launches and bench marking against competition.
  • You will develop account plans as well as strategies for partnership engagement.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and operations, to gather the necessary information and resources for the proposal.
  • Assessing potential risks associated with the bid, such as technical challenges, financial implications, and legal considerations.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for the client during the bid process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and maintaining a positive relationship with key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate price, terms and conditions to close sales.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with an engineering discipline, preferably in mechanics, RF and/or EMC.
  • Availability for travel.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to rapidly adjust tasks and priorities, according to customer needs.
  • Capability and self-motivation to rapidly assimilate information, expand knowledge base, and develop core competencies.

 

 

Required Bonus

  • RF shielding, EMC test system and/or Antenna measurement techniques knowledge
  • Project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
