The Opportunity:

The Customer Support/Account Support Specialist is assigned to the Inside Sales Department and is responsible for providing effective customer service and account support for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members.


Required Experience

Be the direct contact for customer inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. Responsible for contacting customers after services have been performed to discuss open issues and to ensure their satisfaction of the work performed. Assist all departments with administrative duties as needed.

Required Skills

1. Provide timely and accurate information to customers relative to products, price quotes, order processing, and status.

2. Analyze complaints from customers and provide adequate resolutions using customer report and surveys.

3. Develop and maintain knowledge of the products and services being offered

4. Communicate customer feedback to various teams to improve the overall customer experience

5. Communicate with the engineering\Service department and account technicians to obtain product recommendations

6. Manage assigned service accounts and provide account management support to the outside sales team.

7. Assist in purchasing products from vendors to help fill customer orders.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

1. High School Diploma

2. Experience and/or training related to job functions

Customer Support/Account Support Specialist Preferred Education and Experience

1. 2–4-year college degree preferred in business or related field

2. Customer service experience in manufacturing and/or sales preferred
